قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ (1) مَلِكِ النَّاسِ (2) إِلَهِ النَّاسِ (3) مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ (4) الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ (5) مِنْ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ (6).

Al-Baiyina Al-Qadr Al-'Alaq At-Tin

At-Tin
{1} وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
By the Fig and the Olive,
{2} وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
And the Mount of Sinai,
{3} وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ
And this City of security,
{4} لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
{5} ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ
Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,
{6} إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: for they shall have a reward unfailing.
{7} فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ
Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the Judgment (to come)?
{8} أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ
Is not Allah the wisest of Judges?

Al-'Alaq
{1} اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
Proclaim! (or Read!) In the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created,
{2} خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
{3} اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ
Proclaim! and thy Lord is Most Bountiful,
{4} الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
He Who taught (the use of) the Pen,
{5} عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
Taught man that which he knew not.
{6} كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَيَطْغَى
Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds,
{19} كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ
Nay, heed him not: but bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)!
{13} أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away?
{14} أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَى
Knoweth he not that Allah doth see?
{15} كَلَّا لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ
Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock,
{16} نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ
A lying, sinful forelock!
{17} فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ
Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades):
{18} سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ
We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)!
{7} أَنْ رَآهُ اسْتَغْنَى
In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient.
{8} إِنَّ إِلَى رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَى
Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all).
{9} أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَى
Seest thou one who forbids,
{10} عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّى
A votary when he (turns) to pray?
{11} أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَى
Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?
{12} أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَى
Or enjoins Righteousness?


 
{1} إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power:
{2} وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
And what will explain to thee what the Night of Power is?
{3} لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
{4} تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
{5} سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
Peace!... This until the rise of Morn!

Al-Baiyina
{1} لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them clear Evidence,
{2} رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً
A Messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy:
{3} فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ
Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight.
{4} وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence.
{5} وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ
And they have been commanded no more than this: to worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being True (in faith); to establish regular Prayer; and to practise regular Charity; and that is the Religion right and Straight.
{6} إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أُولَئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.
{7} إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ
Those who have faith and do righteous deeds; They are the best of creatures.
{8} جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ
Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein forever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.
